I am looking to switch to satellite TV from cable. I have started researching Dish Network vs Direct TV, but I am kind of confused about the different equipment that comes with the different services. Some places I have read that the equipment is included free of charge with a contract. Other places I have read tell me that I am responsible for paying for equipment and related upgrades and repairs. I do not want to go with a service that is going to nickel and dime me to death over equipment. Is anyone out there able to shed some light on this concern? Thanks.
