Internet Telephony is here to stay
Internet Telephony is the newest technology in telephony that allow us to make and received phone calls over the net, much in the same way that email is sent from one pc to another. Just a few short years ago most of us could not have provided the name of one IP-Telephony provider. But now, after much technological advancement and with the hard work of developers, there are many Internet Telephony providers popping up all over the place.

Cheap calls like we have never seen
IP-Telephony is revolutionary because it has lowered the cost of long distance and international telephone calls to rates that we have never seen before. For example, if a Internet Telephony user in Italy has signed up with the same provider as a family member in Mexico, they will be free to call each other at absolutely no cost without limitation. Suddenly there is no distance!
Now this does not matter if the two people are located in the same country.

There are many ways to make Internet Telephony calls
Customers tap into Internet Telephony in many different ways. Calls can be made from a phone that has been connected to a router with an Internet connection. Customers can make phone calls through a pc that has a software installed or there are even phone cards available that providers offer to allow us to use normal phones to access a IP-Telephony phone line for lower calls.

There are many positives with Internet Telephony
Customers only have to hear about the great rates that are involved and the simplicity of getting connected to this technology and they are ready to convert their phone service to a provider. One of the reasons that providers enjoy almost guaranteed success is that there are many advantages to Internet Telephony phone service and not many negatives.

Do the research on IP-Telephony
Some providers will charge for some services and not for others and so if you are looking for the most economic deal, you will have to shop around a bit and do some comparing of rates.
The only variety that I have found between the various providers are the rates that they charge. If you have been hearing talk of providers but are unsure what provider to contact for service, try doing a little research on the Internet before committing to anything.

Are you an office manager or a business owner? If you are, you must know the importance of time management in the office. Did you know that when your employees donít know how to manage their time, they likely end up costing your company money? Whether you are a business owner or an office manager, you do not want to see this happen. See personal time management.

When it comes to poor time management at the office, there are many office managers and business managers who choose to provide their employees with time management training. If this sounds like a good idea to you, you may be looking for more information. You may be curious as to exactly what time management training its, how it works, and what your staff members will learn. If these are all questions that you have, you will want to continue reading on.

When understanding time management training, it is important to remember that it does come in a number of different formats. For example, most companies choose to hire outside specialists. These are individuals or teams of individuals who come in and teach staff members the importance of proper time management, as well as share tips on how to get the most done through the day. A good example of this is by showing or helping your staff members get their office desks better organized. This is key, as organization and time management go hand in hand.

As nice as it is to hire outside help from professional office organizers and time management specialists, the cost of doing so may be a put off for you. If it is, you may be able to host your own time management training sessions. Doing so is actually a lot easier than you may originally think. In fact, many business owners and office managers like this approach as it gives them complete control over what their staff members learn. Read about time management at work.

Speaking of what your staff members will likely learn in time management training, it will vary. As previously stated, you can hire outside help or you can perform your own training sessions. Regardless of which approach you do take, there are some things that you will want to make sure that your staff members know. First, make sure that you not only tell them the importance of properly managing their time at the office, but show them ways that they can improve the use of their time. These ways may involve keeping a clean and organized office desk, completing a to do list each morning, and so forth.

It is also important that you outline the consequences for employees who continue to waste company time. After time management training as has been offered to all employees, there is no reason why employees should be seen standing around, socializing with each other, or using an office computer for personal use. State that these things are okay for break time, but not during normal work hours. You may want to go as far to show your staff members just how much their wasted time is costing the company. Let them know that additional warnings may come, with termination being a possibility.

As a reminder, time management training is not required by many means, but you may find it a relatively easy and effective approach, especially when compared to terminating and rehiring new employees. Read more at management skills.

To keep your conventional Phone System or toss everything out in favor of an IP Telephone System?

Why to reject services which would promise to improve your productivity?
Replace it all for a modern Voip phone solution and take all the benefits this new technology provides.

What to do?

You have these possibilities:
- analog,
- digital, or
- IP phones
on your desk and whether to take Voip or TDM to be linked with the outside world. Some systems will still permit to mix and match.

Which one is the right solution for me?
VoIP?
TDM?
or Both?
Why not?

Most any Phone Systems give you the option on how to connect to the PSTN.

A pure IP Phone System operates completely in the IP world from handset to call termination. The PBX equivalent is the IP PBX. The IP Telephone System is generally a software running on a Linux system. The handsets are referred to as SIP phones.
SIP is the switching protocol that controls the telephone calls on packet based networks. Calls between subscribers of the same Voip service provider completely stay on the network and never enter the PSTN. Calls from and to non-subscribers are terminated to the PSTN at the provider’s location.

Usually you can mix and match purely IP Telephone System, purely analog Phone Systems, purely digital and TDM Phone Systems. An IP Telephone System may well have FXS (Foreign Exchange Subscriber or Station) ports to connect to analog handsets, like traditional PBX telephone systems. The service connection can be T1, analog, ISDN, or SIP Trunking.

Generally modern IP Telephone Systems offer a broader range of handset and telephone service connection options than legacy PBX systems. But before you decide to replace your telephone system, you may consult an expert or look for relevant information in one of the many Voip Review Sites you’ll find on the Internet.
